Got up on time, had a decent drawing class and a discussion with the guy next to me about exogenous biologists (people like Giger who figure out how a species- a planet- would develop if, say, it had a red sun, or silcon was the basic building block)which interests me. I need to find a way to take a good biology class sometime soon.
Also slipped in to the library and found that their book sale was now half off...instead of spending $30 as intended on two large books, I spent $29 on about 7 books, including my original two (Greek Sculpture and Mayan Art) as well as a World Atlas, one on Castles in Wales, and another on pre-columbian art.
Got about 4 more slides shot by Jeff Bruce, and talked to him about 3 of my glass pieces and possiblities for slide shooting- He'll be back in early december for a full session.
Am home, trying to catch up on mail, having dinner, and finishing my essay for Professional Practice which is in 15 minutes. I have to go in, finish the glazing on my wing tests and start my kiln tonight, after Hal Wert's presentation.
I should be catching the 10:00 cab back home.
