In the human hand, there are 27 bones :
8 (carpal) bones in the wrist
4 in each of the four fingers (for a total of 16)
3 in the thumb
Now, it doesn’t take that much less time to break every finger in a gargoyle hand than a human one, since gargoyles only have one less finger (that is, only four less bones) than a human; given the construction of the wrist, they really don’t have any fewer carpal bones, just alternately shaped ones.
what?
why are you looking at me like that? haven't you ever woken up early for class before?
O.O
