have maybe an hour online tonight. won't be able to again until monday at the earliest, and perhaps not then.
was sad, at 1 am last night (after I stayed up working on my current wire art project) I realized I had done no writing on fic that day. took my notebook and went to sit in the bathroom, the big one on the second floor. wrote all of the next needed scene, the one I had no start to.

I'll type it here 'cause I feel special.

He wasn't faking. She was sure of it.
And yet there was always that fraction of a chance that here was a creature who could fool her senses- a person who had a biological equivalent of sneaking in under her radar.
It was her main talent, and it occured to her for the first time that it was the polar opposite of one of Storm's.
Storm always spoke the truth, and people could not lie to Eclipse. Besides the compulsion to forget their planned dissembling in her presence, Eclipse was gifted with an innate ability to tell fact from fiction. Some species relied scent changes, a quickening pulse, or pther physical factors; She would just *know*.
Eclipse stared at the gargoyle, who continued to stare at the shuttered window. He was shivering, and looked very, very lost. Neither he nor Storm had anythign on them when they came in- no weapons, and more importantly, no sign of the PCS that had started this mess. Most likely he had dropped it on arrival.
Eclipse was about to ask if he knew the access coordinates for his home dimension, then thought better of it. It was doubtful he even knew what that meant, and was in poor condition to try and take the explanation. Brooklyn had not directly asked if they could get him back home, but the way he spoke implied that he expected them to.

~I think the library is going to kick me out. this isn't all of it. I'll keep going.~

That was good- she'd seen too many fall-throughs have hysterics about their displacement before learning how simple it was to go back...for the 96% that *could* go back, anyway.

"I'll have someone take you to a room. You can sleep...or read...find something to take your mind off the situation. I'll be sending someone by to talk to you later today about getting you back where you belong."
He nodded a mute agreement, then awkwardly got up and headed for the door. She reached him as he touched the handle, and caught his wrist. The hairs on her arms and the back of her neck lept to attention. The gargoyle frowned at her.
"You eyes did it again," he said in an absent tone. Eclipse moved him to the side and he didn't resist, leaning against the wall much like Astrix was earlier but conveying confusion instead of competancy as he rubbed his talons up and down his arms. She doubted Brooklyn realized he was doing so.

A quick coded knock to the door, and 'Rix even had her gun away before she opened it. That knock indicated their next step- have their guest taken down a monitored hall to a restricted room by a signle unarmed gaurd, and see if he tried anything. He would be locked in for the day, regardless. In addition to the obvious reasons for doing so, it would serve to remind him that they were in control here, and he was allowed to remain in their home only on the Fang's sufference.
