Oct. 28th, 2009 10:16 pmAbout an hour after yesterday's 1:20pm post, I went to take a nap and wound up sleeping for 14 hours. This after sleeping for about 5 hours the night before, having gone to bed at 4:30 am and being woken up a little after 9am with the announcement that the tech was here to fix my comp.
...So, apparently someone had put in the file that I'd confirmed that time for an appointment. They'd never *called* me. Whoops. So anyway, between 5 hours not quite being enough to cut it, and the fact I got a vaccination for H1N1 the previous night that utterly kicked my ass, I missed most of yesterday.
And had a series of bizarre dreams that seem to be inspired by my recent watching of The 4400 and Painkiller Jane and Flashforward, as it involved people with special abilities being hunted down and killed, sometimes tortured to death first, while most of them were just trying to go lead normal lives.
But then I was up at 4:30 am and still not feeling very get-up-and-at-em, so I wound up playing Warcraft for a bit, filled the last three xp bars and hit 73 on Valloa. (And there was much rejoicing. Yaye.) Oh, and looked up maps for the Avatar: TLA world.
And then I left home at 9am this morning- after fielding a call from the tech company that I was not available today for them to come over and fix the thing they weren't sent the part for yesterday- and went to my morning class at Fleisher. (Pics to be uploaded later.) And then at 1pm when class ended I went down to talk to my ceramics volunteering supervisor, who *still* doesn't need me for anything. So I went up to the library and worked on stuff there for a few hours. And then I got a sandwich, and then I went back to work on the morning project while waiting for the 6:30 pm evening class to start. And it was like yaye!, and I got some compliments, and sculpty things done on the first night of this new pose so I don't have pics yet and it's pretty bare right now anyway.
And now I am home, and there will be dinner, and I need to blow my nose. So I bid ya'll g'night.
