EEP!!

okay, so, Tuesday night's 2003 staff meeting went very well, and ended in our nailing down of the terms of our calendar and t-shirt art contests, and me spreading the word throughout the high hills of the fandom. I only got a response on Aimee Major's forum, tho, from Vashkoda; Just now I was MORE than slightly surprised to myself quoted from my response to Vash in the Official Gargoyles News updates.

Vash did also quote from the end of my group yahoo email, the only place I mentioned "stay tuned for update #2 coming soon- Registration".

which should be up within a week, btw.

My attempts to download the movie Triple X apparently triumphed on attempt number 6 giving me a working one of decent quality...only to reveal that despite the fact it was listed as "truple X, Vin Diesel" it was a copy of HALF BAKED!!! (oddly enough, that movie was mentioend in class today, after we viewed the film "I love you, Alice B. tolkas".)

Damn.

I also discovered a quite spiffing new A capello group, (the) Brown Derbies, via Emambu. Their cover of "Lightening Crashes" is quite good.

Laurell K. Hamilton's 11th Anita Blake book, Cerulean Sins, will be released on April 1, 2003
and
J.K. Rowling's 5th Harry Potter book "...and the Order of the Phoenix" will be releaed June 21, 2003

...and it's a third again LONGER then the goblet of fire. this one might actually take me TWO days to read.
