lynatiso, my new self-imposed internet restriction I recently set in place was helped vastly by the fact it too over 40 hours to de-frag, not inculudunbg the scandisk/repairs that it needed just to be able to properly defreag in the first place.
anyway. failed to cast my face twice last friday (my fault, I hadn't cleaned the blundger so the mix was all wonky) with Amanda's help. we're goign to try again next week, after doing Andrew's whole head (which he graciously agreed to lend today, if/when we find time both of us and amanda are free).
and I found out one of the sculpture students (mike stacey) has a really nice back mold that I 'd like to geta copy of...haven't had a chance to meet him yet, sicne I missed the H and R blockspace "opening" on friday. The cast I took of Bryn last Thursday afternoon, however, came out completely kickass. Gonan run through webcomics and maybe AIM for the next 45 minutes, then get back to class.
I started and half-finished a tile of Nemesis last night, including the implantation of about 170 razor blades into the clay for her wings. gotta finish the wetwork on it tonight; tomorrow I can glaze the rest and start the kiln towards the end of class. only have about 10 days to do bronze casts as well. *whistles softly* Rapture is gonna be cutting it close, if I can get her.
