lynatiit has now literally been 48 hours isnce I last turned on my computer.
Yes, that busy, I have been.
added Eddie/Calliope's wings tonight; I think I'll have her fully done tomorrow, and hopefully she won't crack back apart in the kiln. Talked to bill lane (haven't seen crazy bill much, but he's taking a ceramics elective) and he says Baird is the one to talk to about resin casting, and she's seemed more than helpful to me in the past with things... Also mixed the crawl glaze recipe Mamie gave to me, and glazed on Furachogue's bust for the kiln tomorrow. did the underglaze for Bachue; need to go to KC metro (hopping a ride with Jen after school) for the Arroyo. Was in and workign by 5:15, which means I spent nine hours. not to shabby. I didn't get in last night tho; I had to move my new (good condition, secondhand and left behind, so new to me) couch upstairs, and go to home depot for a supply run (silica caulk, tie wire, and dropcloths. and a caulking gun, but they're cheap; about 3 bucks) and got suckered in to watching Finding Nemo (for the first time.) good flick. Not exactly what you'd expect from Disney; at leat not the way its going now.
I decided, hey, I'll go to bed early, get up early, and work.
did this happen?
no.
I slept (ie, hit the snooze button) repeatedly until just before my 11:30 class. bah on me. oh well, I work nights better anyway.
so, worked a lot, and got a bit of a surprise- Lucy, one of the sophomores with whom I've stucka cord, brought one of her class fridnds over to see my work.
can we say "ego boost" ?

he liked my work too. and I hadn't seen his yet, (its good) and we talked until just after I missed the cab, or so I thought, but this turned out to be moot since Lucy has a car, and both her and Juan drive. they were gonan drop me off, but the word "sunfresh" hot the conversation just before we reached my apartment, so I had a 2 am run to the food store. It reminded me of Steph...
anyway, we had gouda and cheezits and I bought juice and sandwich meat, and it was all good, and I promised them my dried orange peels for their weekend saggar-fire.
My hands are itchy, and I'm covered in clay, but I'm happy.
