lynatiThis article was originally printed in late september of 2002, then posted online at the google disney gargs news site in october...someone just made a (fairly lame) response to the thread, which is why it'd back on top of the list. the fact that there has only been five replies to it makes me wonder how many saw it.
the title is 'Failing magic at Disney", and includes such interesting comments as:
"So today's (failing) Disney is a direct reflection of Eisner, the executive who was recruited in 1984 to restore magic to a troubled entertainment kingdom."
and
"...The initial changes will reshape Disney's board, which at times has included Eisner's lawyer, his architect and the principal of his children's elementary school. "
