This is probably Old Hat to most of you folks, but I'm watching this for the first time...

Season 2, episode 6 of Castle, and HOLY CRAP, Nathan Fillion, in fact, dressing up as Malcolm Reynolds for Halloween.
Castle: "I was just trying on my Halloween costume."
Alexis: "What exactly are you supposed to be?"
Castle: "..Space Cowboy!"
Alexis: "Okay, A) There are no cows in space, B) Didn't you wear that, like, five years ago?"
Castle: "So?"
Alexis: "So don't you think you should move on?"
Castle: "I *like* it."
I love a show that not only manages an in-joke of this quality, but then pulls off LAMPSHADING it to boot.
I finished watching season three of Leverage last night, too, and that Parker actually did the "Does this rag smell like chloroform to you?" bit had me on the floor.

In costuming news, part of my costume might actually get done, but it's not coming out nearly as good as I had hoped. Also, it doesn't fight my face quite right, mostly on the account of not being designed for my face. But I think I can manage it.
