So, I finally figured out what the deal is with on of my characters, that being Lena. And it actually MAKES SENSE in a way that the many previous iterations never quite did. I mean, it's still really "wtf?!" but then, there is really no way it wouldn't be.
And then it hit me; Lena came into my brain about 13 years ago. 13. Years. *low whistle* And since I started work on The Unrelenting Song a couple years before that point, I have officially passed the point where I've been working on it for over half of my life. I mean, even before I have my next birthday in- jeez, 3 days from now.
I don't think it had really sunk in until now.
