So, last Sunday Emambu and Steph C. and I drove up to New York to see Mara, who was back in her old stomping grounds for a week. We had lunch at a place that she used to eat at in high school (and many a year before, apparently) and wandered through a flea market, and then decided that our landmark of choice to visit would be the Botanical Gardens.
And it was pretty.

The cherry blossoms were all in bloom.
And Mara was pretty in front of the trees...
And I was pretty in front of the trees...
And Emambu and Steph were cute in front of the trees...
When suddenly they were distracted.
And what were they distracted by?
Oh.
Uh, guys?
...GUYS?
(Erik's expression in this one just kills me. He says that I'm taking it "out of context." Shyeah, right.)
...and shortly after that they were kicked out of the park. I got to stay and take more pretty pictures of trees, though.
I'll upload the rest at a later date. ^_^
Edit: Oh, and I also fixed the internet problem with a twelve dollar PCI card from Target. Yaye!
