'tis the season?
Apr. 21st, 2010 08:12 amSo, I've noticed a sudden upswing in my creativity and production in the last couple weeks, coinciding with the sudden change in weather and preceeding the start of the new Fleisher semester by about a week. I've been both drawing and writing daily, as well as sculpting on at least the two nights a week I'm in class for it. (Though the former may in part be because I have had the time this last week what with work not sending me work to do. : P )
This winter was particularly a bad or depressing one for me, but now I'm wondering if it's just, you know, you get used to a state and think, "eh, I don't feel so bad" up until the point you're suddenly feeling even better all the time. Maybe the "better" is supposed to be the average, and that whole block of time you were actually down in the dumps without really realizing it.
Anyway, more in-progress art from Fleisher later today, once I get it moved off of my camera. I've swapped up to using a 24 x 18 pad of newsprint for the drawing classes, so I'm taking digital images of the results rather than attempting to scan them.
Also, I'm looking to make the move to a Dreamwidth account, although I'm going to set it up to continue to cross-post to LJ, there's supposed to be a setting for that. I'm going to do the full journal import; has anyone out there whose done so had any problems with their filters and custom settings on entries?
