Nov. 27th, 2007 05:51 pmI have to catch the train for class tonight in about ten minutes, so I have to sum up:
1) Avatar. I bought season 2 the other day, watched it between chores, and then torrented eps 1-11 of the current season. I am officially caught up, and OMFGBBQSAUCE. The more I see of this show, the better it gets. I want to bear the creator's mental offspring. Azula's VA is awesome-sauce as well "My own mother thought I was a monster! ...she was right, of course. But it still hurt to hear...", Aang has the best dreams, and I like the running theme gag of: "Where we're going, we don't need pants", Appa's episode almost made me cry, the animators did a great job portraying his emotions- and animating a 6-legged semi-sentient flying buffalo can't be easy in the first place. And everyone else. And the clothing changes in season 3, the Capoeira in the "dance" episode- and Toph. Toph = uber. She really balances the team, in how they relate and not just abilities- I almost hope the decide to do what the Naruto manga did, and continue the series after a timeskip if it "ends" this season. I really want to see what a few years will do to everyone. Only without the horrible year or so of filler episodes.
2) My foot pedal = finally fixed. And I finally got a chance to see just how much it helps. My average just jumped from 12 minutes an hour to 18 minutes an hour - half again my previous. I contacted the company because even after getting a USB adapter my computer wasn't recognizing it right- they sent me a quick software download, a pedal-tester, and that somehow forced it to act right. And I can still use the adapter with my laptop.
3) I have email-project-thingies to write tonight, I didn't get to them the other day. Too much Avatar. And there's more, but I have to put on a bra and shoes and a coat and skiddadle now. So I'll type later, if I'm not typing other stuff I should have been typing yesterday.
Oh yeah. I had a dream I had Demona-patterned underwear, and that Neil Gaiman saw them sticking up from my pants and complimented me on them. Go figure.
