(no subject)

It became suddenly warm again in San Antonio last night, and it was a bit stuffy in the upstairs so I opened my bedroom window a couple inches to let some fresh air in. I'm on the second floor and there is a bush that has grown up to the bottom of the window, which I like. It is very green and friendly.

So Shao Lin comes over to it, and is sniffing at the bottom of the window as I'm working on an outline. I'm typing, glancing at Shao, typing, glancing at the silly meering Shao Shao...

And suddenly I noticed he looks a bit funny. Not ill, simply blurry. As though I was staring at him through a poorly washed pane of glass.

CRAP.


Luckily, I got him back inside with minimal fuss and closed the window back down to about half an inch.

And the outline to Odd Jobs is moving along faster than I expected. But since I didn't expect to be working on it today, that's not really saying much. I did spend about four hours last night talking to Emambu and updating him on various things, mostly about season 1 of Bad Guys an the progress of it and Gargs 4. I was a bit surprised to find there had been progress, and updated the season overviews accordingly. I wanted to show a couple new files to Gunjack, and he suggested I put them all in one folder. Which I had. It's the folder on the secure site for BG, which I linked him to.

"Whoa, when did you do this?"

"Um, about three years ago. You're used to just seeing the html overview page. This is simply the view of all the documents the folder contains, it's why we deliberately don't name files .index on the secure site- sometimes its easier to just look at them when you can see the date it was last altered."

"We should use this more."

"Ya think?"
