So everyone is now talking about the DVD. I'll kick in my two cents.
When I first learned about the film crew coming to the con, I had this plan that I would make the best costume ever, and get on the DVD for it.
This did not happen.
I let school and my desire to graduate take prescidence over costuming, and with my final summer session did succeed in filling those final 3 credits I'd prom, ised the school I'd get so they'd let me walk with my graduating class. And to be fair, it was *totally* the right choice. But I still attempted to do the costume, and...it didn't come out terrible, but it didn't come out at all like I had hoped. and tho it saddens me, I can live with it. I managed to keep myself off the DVD for the most part, so my failure is hardly on record. Not that it mattered, really, since Loopy and GE probably would have beaten me out for top slots regardless.
So I now I have a great idea for a costume- a couple in fact- for Vegas. I actually them both prior to 2004 but wanted to save them for this year.
And much like getting Gargs Season 2 on DVD, it's not going to happen either.
I've got nowhere, literally, to work on them. Casting plaster, rubber, and plastic is not something you can simply set up in your bedroom or livingroom- neither of which there is room for here anyway. So I'm going to shelve this dream early, and try to focus my efforts on things that might actually greet the light of day. or the black of the TGS archive, as the case may be.
It was nice while it lasted. RIP, cool idea. Go join the original outline to "Hunt's End" and my desire to be a professional gymnast.
