This folder just fell open as I was packing it, it has a few 1c stamps in an clear inside pocket. I say, "Hey, you don't belong there, you belong with the rest of the stamps" and go to take them out when I notice what is NEXT to them in this pocket. A familiar piece of slender paper, an x'd out bit of an old tax return type form from eight years ago, instantly familiar as the protective wrapper of my social security card, which I had been unable to find since last September. I have a guess at why I put it there, but damn, it really didn't belong there and it was extremely fortuitous that folder fell open when it did, and that it contained something odd enough to catch my eye.
The mind, it boggles. @_@
